About the Foundation

Partner Organizations | Board of Directors & Staff

The Chagrin Foundation for Arts & Culture was established by a group of forward-thinking community leaders, citizens, and arts advocates, committed to improving the vitality, quality of life, and economic stability of Chagrin Falls and its surrounding communities, known generally as the Chagrin Valley. The Foundation has forged important partnerships with local arts organizations, government, and civic groups to advance mutually-held aspirations for the Chagrin Valley.

The Foundation's vision includes the creation of an Arts & Entertainment District in Chagrin Falls that will grow from the community's existing arts organizations. To that end, the restoration and renovation of the Historic Township Hall and Chagrin Valley Little Theatre have been identified as inaugural capital projects - these buildings will be the anchors of the designated district.

Our Mission

  • Encouraging partnerships between public and private sectors;
  • Assisting artists and cultural organizations in their efforts to thrive;
